Newspapers and websites have been heavily publicizing the case of a mechanic who received £400,000 after injuring his hand on a knife left in a police vehicle. The man, Alexander Darg, developed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in the seven years after his accident, which left him unable to work. Creator of Dreamspace artwork fined by HSE

The creator of the Dreamspace inflatable artwork that killed two women when it broke free from its moorings in a park in Chester-Le-Street has been fined £10,000 for health and safety breaches. Fatal Road Accidents – More action needed at accident blackspots
