A career ending tackle has resulted in nearly £4.5 million compensation for a former Manchester United trainee whose leg was broken during a football match against Middlesbrough FC. Just horsing around? £5000 for woman bitten during riding lesson

A 46 year old woman who was bitten by a horse during a horse riding lesson in October 2006 has received £5,000 compensation for the injuries to her thigh.
