A41 Taxi Accident Victim claims compensation with Camps Solicitors
After an accident in Birkenhead town centre, taxi passenger Mrs Marshall sought legal advice from Camps Solicitors. We were able to confirm that she had strong grounds to make a claim for personal injuries compensation. Legal Executive Lynne Macintosh Jones was able to handle Mrs Marshall's claim and achieve a successful outcome, recovering the taxi accident compensation she deserved.
Mrs Marshall's accident took place at the junction of Borough Road and Whetstone Lane in June last year. Mrs Marshall was in a taxi that was driving across the junction when another motorist attempted to turn across the path of the taxi, colliding with it and injuring her. In the accident Mrs Marshall suffered whiplash type injuries to her neck as well as an injury to her wrist.
When Camps Solicitors took on Mrs Marshall's claim, Lynne and her team arranged for one of our client liaison officers to visit Mrs Marshall at a time and place convenient to her. At this initial meeting Mrs Marshall received help completing the forms necessary to make a personal injury compensation claim. The client liaison officer explained the claims process and Mrs Marshall was given a contact number so that she could speak directly to a member of the Camps staff who was dealing with her case.
Thanks to the work put in by Lynne and the team at Camps Birkenhead offices, Mrs Marshall's claim was a success and she received compensation totalling £2,000. Commenting after she had received her compensation cheque, Mrs Marshall said:
"The client liaison officer was very helpful at the beginning of the case; he explained what was going to happen. I received a letter from Lynne Macintosh Jones; she was extremely helpful and thorough throughout my case. She explained things clearly, telling me what was going to happen, and her team were very helpful. When ever I phoned up to ask questions about my case they were always very helpful and explained what was happening, where they were up to and what the next step was to be.
On one occasion when I phoned up I apologised to the lady I was phoning up, I felt like I was bothering them; however she reassured me that I wasn't, and that I could phone any time I wanted and it wasn't a problem.
The best decision I made was to go with Camps, they really are the best at what they do, I cannot thank Lynne, her team and the whole firm enough for what they did for me to get this result for my claim."
