ASDA Car Park Victim Makes No-win No-fee Claim
When she was the victim of an accident that was not her fault, Miss Stanton was able to make a successful claim for compensation for the injuries she had suffered by using Camps Solicitors. Handling her case and providing her with expert legal advice on a no-win, no-fee basis was a team headed by Camps partner Lynne Southern, a solicitor with many years experience of cases similar to Miss Stanton's.
The accident took place in the car park of the ASDA superstore in Blackburn; Miss Stanton was in a parked car when another motorist who was attempting to park misjudged the space and hit the rear of the vehicle that she was sitting in, causing her to be injured. In the accident Miss Stanton suffered neck and shoulder injuries.
When Camps Solicitors took on Miss Stanton's claim, we immediately arranged a home visit from one of our client liaison officers to help Miss Stanton to fill in the forms to begin her claim. At a later date, a private medical examination by a doctor was arranged to record Miss Stanton's injuries as they would form part of the evidence in her claim.
Thanks to the work put in by Lynne and the other staff at Camps Solicitors, Miss Stanton's claim was successful and she received compensation for her neck and shoulder injuries totalling £2,100. After she had received her cheque, Miss Stanton made some comments on the service she had received from Camps Solicitors during her claim:
"Firstly I would like to thank the lady who dealt with my claim, Lynne Southern. I would recommend Camps to anyone looking to pursue a claim of this nature. Camps dealt with my claim swiftly; from beginning to end it was only 6 months! Any queries I had were dealt with promptly and professionally. I really appreciated the home visit to get the ball rolling and it was very convenient to me as I don't drive. I would definitely use the company again and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to friends and family."
