Ashton-In-Makerfield accident victim makes successful claim with Camps Solicitors
After being involved in an accident that was not his fault, Mr Charnock was able to make a successful claim for personal injuries compensation by using the services of Camps Solicitors. His claim was handled by a team of staff led by solicitor Ged Jones, who specializes in road traffic accident litigation, particularly cases involving hiring replacement vehicles for clients.
Mr Charnock's accident took place in Monmouth Crescent in Ashton-in-Makerfield last summer; his car was behind another vehicle driving down the street. As the driver of the vehicle pulled over to the left, Mr Charnock went to drive past, however the other driver then swung his vehicle around and hit his vehicle at the front of the passenger door. In the accident his car was damaged and he suffered and injury to his neck.
When Camps Solicitors took on Mr Charnock's claim we set to work organising the provision of a like for like replacement hire vehicle for him to use whilst his own vehicle was being repaired. We also arranged for Mr Charnock to receive a private medical examination so that a doctor could record his injuries as they would be used as part of the evidence in his claim.
Thanks to the efforts of Ged and his team, Mr Charnock's compensation claim was a success and he was awarded £2,430 in compensation for his injuries; Camps were also able to recover the costs of providing a like-for-like replacement hire car for Mr Charnock and the costs of repairing his own vehicle.
