Victim of Mid-Wales Car Accident Receives Compensation
After an accident in Wales in which she was injured, motorist Ms. Philips contacted Camps Solicitors to pursue a claim for car accident compensation for the injuries she suffered and the damage to her car.
The car accident occurred on the A483 road near the town of Pant. A lorry in front of Ms. Philips car had a tyre blow out, and whilst trying to avoid the debris from the tyre, Ms. Philips' car was hit in the rear by another vehicle. There was significant damage to Ms. Philips car and it was written off, Ms. Philips herself received light whiplash-type injury to her neck and back.
Camps arranged for Ms. Philips to undergo medical examination to discover the extent of her injuries. Following the examination it was estimated that she would take 6 months to fully recover from her accident. A courtesy car was arranged for Ms. Philips as part of our One Call Sorts All service so she would be able to get on with life after the accident.
A compensation claim was brought against the driver of the car that hit the rear of Ms. Philips vehicle. The case was settled out of court and Ms. Philips received compensation for her injuries of £2100.
