Compensation success for passenger in Wrexham car accident
Camps Solicitors, the Merseyside based road traffic accident and personal injury compensation experts have acted successfully in the case of a man who was injured in a car accident that was not his fault. Mr Challoner's case handled by solicitor Ged Jones, an expert in road traffic accident law, who is supported by a team of staff at Camps Birkenhead offices.
Mr Challoner's accident took place in July last year; he was the passenger in a car which was stationary at a junction. As the driver of Mr Challoner's car was waiting to turn right, another motorist drove at speed into the rear of the vehicle. The impact caused significant damage to the vehicle that Mr Challoner was in, and it was written off following the accident. The crash caused Mr Challoner to suffer injuries to his chest, neck and back.
When Mr Challoner contacted Camps Solicitors to pursue a car accident compensation claim, we were able to send one of our client liaison officers out to help Mr Challoner to fill in the forms necessary to make his claim. The client liaison officer also explained the claims process and answered Mr Challoner's questions.
Whilst Mr Challoner was recovering from his injuries, Ged Jones and the staff at Camps Solicitors were assembling a claim for personal injury compensation on his behalf. Using the evidence gathered at a private medical examination, together with that of expert witnesses, Ged built a strong case for Mr Challoner to receive the compensation he deserved after having been a victim of an accident that was not his fault.
Thanks to the efforts of Ged and the rest of the staff at Camps Solicitors, Mr Challoner's claim was a success and just over 6 months after starting his claim, he received a cheque for £3,500 compensation. After he had received his compensation cheque, Mr Challoner made some comments about the way Camps Solicitors had handled his compensation claim:
"I had previously suffered a whiplash injury which wasn't as severe as this one. I used my own solicitors and was advised to accept the first offer of £750. My gut feeling was they weren't prepared to fight for the best deal for myself.
While waiting in the casualty department to be treated, I saw a leaflet advertising Camps. When I realised they were from Merseyside my gut feeling was they would fight for the best outcome. It was the best move I ever made; they were swift, very professional and kept me in constant touch.
They rejected the first offer made by the other side and got me £3,500, much more than I expected despite my suffering and discomfort from the crash. They proved they would fight to the death for the best outcome for the client. I would not hesitate to use them again and would fully recommend them."
