Colin Billing - Senior Partner
Colin Billing has been a Personal Injury Solicitor since qualifying as a solicitor in 1986 and founded the Personal Injury Department at Camps Solicitors on joining the firm as a partner in 1990. Under Colin's leadership the Personal Injury Department has grown from just 3 members of staff to a total of over 100 at present.
Colin was a member of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel for more than a decade and was one of the first Personal Injury Solicitors in the Country to recognise the power of case management systems. Colin developed the firm's case management systems and guided the firm to LExcel and Investors in People Accreditation at the first attempt in 2002.
Colin continues to be at the forefront of all aspects of the firm's development plans to lead the firm to even greater achievements in the coming years.
He is known as an outspoken opponent of the insurance industries attempts to control the claims process and erode the rights of claimants and is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and the Motor Accident Solicitors Society.
Johanne Humphreys - Managing Partner
Johanne Humphreys has been a personal injury solicitor since qualifying in 1996, and was on the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel for 5 years. Johanne moved into a full time management role at the firm in 2003. Johanne is now the firm's Managing Partner, working closely with Colin Billing, and is involved in all areas of the firm’s development from marketing to strategic planning.
Lynne Southern - Partner
Lynne graduated from Liverpool University in 1992. She joined Camps Solicitors in 1994 and became a Partner in 2000. Lynne has specialised in Claimant Personal Injury work throughout most of her career and heads a large team of fee earners and support staff handling mainly high value claims.
With many years experience handling road accident cases, Lynne also deals with a lot of compensation claims on behalf of Police Officers who have been injured on the roads.
Outside of work, Lynne is kept busy by her two young children. When she does get a quiet moment or two, Lynne likes to spend the evening with a glass of fine red, or eating out in nice restaurants.

Alison Saul - Partner
Alison studied Law at Liverpool John Moores University obtaining an LLB (Hons) Degree in 1997. Alison then studied for the Legal Practice Course at The Chester College of Law. Upon leaving The College of Law in 1998, she commenced work with Camps Solicitors where she qualified as a Solicitor in 2000.
Alison became a partner in the firm in 2004 and is now a member of the firm's management team, with her own team of fee earners and support staff. Alison specialises in Personal Injury Litigation, dealing with road traffic accident cases and accident at work claims .
Garry Coghlan - Partner
Garry studied medieval history at the University of St. Andrews where he emerged with an MA (Hons) in 1985. After attending Manchester Polytechnic he qualified as a solicitor in 1992, and became a partner with the firm in 2004. Since joining Camps Solicitors he has practised exclusively in the field of civil litigation.
He is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, a member of the Birkenhead Court Users Committee and an affiliate member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.
Garry has being skiing for many years and says his ideal holiday destination would have to have mountains and plenty of snow.
Lynda Savarizadeh - Client Care Solicitor
Lynda is the firm's Client Care Solicitor, her role involves monitoring the quality and client care procedures to make sure all our clients are satisfied with the way we run their claims. In the rare event that someone wishes to make a complaint, Lynda will be the person who investigates their complaint and she will work with the other members of staff to address any problems that may have arisen.
Lynda graduated from the University of Liverpool with an LLB (Hons) in 1989 and qualified as a solicitor after passing her Law Society Finals in 1992. Since qualifying she has specialised in personal injury litigation, holding membership of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and a Diploma in Personal Injury Litigation. She joined Camps Solicitors in 2006 and in addition to her quality and client care roles she leads a first response team of 6 staff and is a member of the firm's Management Team.
Gareth Kinvig - Associate Solicitor
Gareth studied law at Middlesex University of London, before completing his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester. Gareth joined the firm in 1999 and was admitted as a Solicitor in January 2002. During his time with the firm Gareth has worked in the Personal Injury, Conveyancing and Employer's Liability departments. Gareth has a particular interest in Credit Hire Litigation and Advocacy.
Currently Gareth is leads a team of other fee earners and support staff in one of the firms largest departments, dealing primarily with RTA cases as well as accidents in the workplace and public liability claims. In 2007 Gareth passed several assessments to become the firm's representative on the Law Society Personal Injury Panel.
Gareth contributes articles to the local press and the firm's website on a regular basis and has recently represented the firm at the Legal Services Conference in Birmingham.

Ged Jones - Associate Solicitor
Ged graduated from Liverpool University in 1997 with a B.A. (Hons) degree in English Literature and History. He then went on to complete the Common Professional Examination and the Legal Practice Course at Chester College of Law.
Since joining Camps Solicitors in 2000 Ged has dealt with high volumes of personal injury claims including road traffic accidents, accidents at work and tripping/slipping ranging between 1000- 750,000. He was admitted as a solicitor in January 2003.
Recently Ged has completed the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers Certificate in Law, which involved a three year programme of assessments and examinations. He has also represented the firm as a panellist on Legal TV, a phone in legal advice show on Sky. As well as representing Camps on a national level, Ged writes legal updates for local newspapers as well as contributing to the firms own website/newsletter.

Arpana Kapoor - Associate Solicitor
Arpana studied law and criminology at Keele University obtaining LLB (Hons) degree in 1998. She then took a year out obtaining commercial experience working in the legal and sales department of a technology company.
After attending The College of Law Chester and completing her Legal Practice Course with distinction in 2000, Arpana then worked in the PI department of a large national Law Firm for approximately a year and a half as a fee-earner dealing with road traffic accidents, accidents at work and tripping and slipping cases.
Arpana joined Camps Solicitors in May 2002 as a trainee Solicitor and qualified as a solicitor in June 2004. She now has her own team of support staff specializing in personal injury law dealing with road traffic accidents, accidents at work, occupier's liability and public liability claims.

Jodie Hudson - Associate Solicitor
Jodie studied law and completed her postgraduate Legal Practice Certificate at Liverpool John Moores University. After working for another local firm of solicitors, Jodie joined Camps, and qualified as a solicitor in 2006. Now working as an associate solicitor within the firm, Jodie says one of her ambitions is to progress to become a team leader, in charge of her own department.
When she isn't handling complex legal cases, Jodie likes nothing better than letting her hair down with friends on a night out on the town. Her ideal date would be Hugh Grant, and her favourite film is Dirty Dancing. Sun, sea and sand are her holiday watchwords, and her ideal holiday destination of Hawaii has plenty of all three.

Marie Donnelly - Associate Solicitor
Marie studied for her LLB (Hons) at Liverpool University and completed her Legal Practice Certificate at Nottingham Law School where she received a commendation. After spending a year working in a Liverpool based solicitors, Marie joined Camps where she works in Ged Jones department.
Marie confesses her ideal weekend would be spent jetting off to Sydney, where she would shop till she dropped, with the aid of movie stars Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt to carry her bags and take her to dinner afterwards.

Martine Hunt - Associate Solicitor
Martine joined the firm in September 2007 after studying law at Cardiff University and the University of Central Lancashire and qualifying as a solicitor in 1996. With over 10 years experience working in other Northwest law firms and a motto of "Organisation is everything", Martine's appointment further enhances Camps reputation as a first class legal outfit.
But Martine is certainly not all work and no play, at home dog-lover Martine and her partner are kept busy by no less than seven canine companions. Martine has been involved in re-homing rescue dogs for 15 years now, and George, the first dog she provided a home for, is still going strong all these years later.
When she isn't looking after her pets, Martine is fanatical about ballroom dancing, and has danced with Anton Du Beke & Erin Boag from TV's Strictly Come Dancing. A keen traveller, Martine's current ambition is to master French, which she hasn't spoken since she left school.
Andrew Smith Associate Solicitor
Andy read Politics and European Studies Liverpool John Moores University, before going to Huddersfield University to study Law. He qualified in February 2008 as a solicitor after previously working for another law firm as a court clerk. Andy says his goal is to get as much compensation as possible for his clients.
When he is not working hard representing victims of non-fault road traffic accidents, Andy says his weekends are for watching Everton and looking after his young son. Andy says he enjoys watching and, where possible, playing cricket and he also attempts to play the guitar.
Lynne MacIntosh Jones - Legal Executive
After studying at Liverpool John Moores University, Lynne qualified as a legal executive in 1995. She has over ten years experience dealing with claimant personal injury cases. Since she joined Camps Solicitors in 1999, Lynne has developed her own work providers and her team has now expanded to two fee earners and nine support staff.
Lynne admits to being a big fan of Take That, and was very pleased to hear of their recent comeback, even if it was without a certain Mr Robbie Williams, her favourite member. Lynne lists an interesting mix of yoga and mountain biking as her ways to keep fit, although she is unlikely to find any mountains in her favourite holiday destination - the Maldives.

Diane Davies - Legal Executive
Diane joined Camps Solicitors after 13 years working for another law firm in the South West. Diane qualified in 2003 and is now a fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.
At the weekends, Diane is a big fan of keep fit, running 15-20 miles a week, which was good preparation for the Camps charity bike ride she took part in last year. Although she is a keen skier, Diane prefers to holiday in warmer locations, and particularly enjoys visiting the Far East, including Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, as well as Mexico, where she was married.
When she returns home, Diane says her ideal dinner date would be her husband, and her ideal guests to any party would be Eric Cantona, Alex Ferguson and Brad Pitt.

Ian Edwards - Litigation Executive
Ian is the latest recruit to Camps growing staff, and has 20 years experience working in various solicitors firms handling all areas of litigation. After spending time working at a defendant solicitor in his previous job, Ian says he is happy to be back representing the righteous, in his own words, “Every Client’s claim is different and each day brings new challenges. I want to do well and represent my Clients and the firm to the best of my ability.”
Outside of work, Ian is passionate about football, and his support of Everton FC, where he and his family are season ticket holders. He also has a keen interest in Aussie Rules Football, and spends his weekends watching sports with his sons.
Malcolm Bell - Litigation Executive
Malcolm joined Camps Solicitors after 17 years working for Local Authorities defending Employers Liability and Public Liability personal injury claims including highway tripping claims and Industrial diseases.
In an unusual move for someone with his background, he then 'changed sides', spending 5 years in private practice representing claimants from a Trade Union and Lay Client background in all aspects of personal injury litigation. Malcolm holds an LLB (Hons) Law Degree and a Diploma in Legal Practice.
When he is not representing industrial disease and work related injuries, Malcolm confesses to being an armchair Formula 1 fan and, having 4 children, he has little spare time to do anything else!
Sandra Sauvage - Litigation Executive
Sandra has worked at Camps Solicitors since 1990 and is a Member of the Institute of Legal Executives. Having worked for various firms of solicitors since leaving college, Sandra was initially employed by Camps as a Legal Secretary. Through her hard work, endeavour and intensive training she was promoted to the position of team leader in one of the firm’s RTA departments, running her own caseload of personal injury claims.
Sandra says her favourite holiday destination is her birth country of New Zealand, from where her family emigrated when she was only 2 years old. Sandra says she is determined to return there over the next couple of years.
With a collection over 150 DVD's, Sandra said she is hard pressed to name a favourite film, but if pushed, she would choose the Lord of The Rings trilogy, which interestingly enough, was also filmed in New Zealand. Lee Quinn - Litigation Executive
Lee joined Camps in December 2007, after having worked as a litigation executive for many years in several other local law firms. He specialises in RTA cases and has settled many high value claims over the years, winning millions of pounds for his clients, including a case valued at nearly £1 million.
Outside of work, Lee splits his time between Liverpool and Scotland, where his girlfriend lives. His hobbies include going to the gym, walking and football, although he confesses he does not get as much time as he would like for the latter. Lee rates Goodfella's and The Godfather Trilogy as his favourite movies.

Darren Fitzsimmons – Litigation Executive
Darren joined Camps in October 2008 after two previous jobs working for Merseyside law firms as a Litigation Executive for a total of 11 years. Darren works in one of our busy Road Traffic Accident departments managed by Camps’ Partner Lynne Southern.
A football fanatic and Everton season ticket holder, Darren plays for his local team and also runs an under-10’s team for local children. He is married with 2 children and says his favourite films include The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile, and his favourite television program is The Sopranos.
Andrew Marray – Litigation Executive
With over 8 years experience working as a Litigation Executive for other Merseyside-based law firms, Andrew joined Camps in September 2008. He currently works in Lynne MacIntosh Jones’s department, dealing primarily with road traffic accident claims.
Andrew is a keen martial arts practitioner, holding the rank of 2nd Dan in JuJitsu, which as he often likes to say, is two higher than a blackbelt. When he is not watching Liverpool Football club along with his 3 sons, Andy can be found on the golf course. Only 4 days after joining Camps, Andrew competed in and went on to win the Mottram Hall golf competition, holding off challenges from, amongst others, several of the Camps staff.
